Xiaoyichu Privacy Policy

Xiaoyichu ("the App", "we") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a stable user identifier and, if you choose to share it, an email address. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

1.2 Content you create. Photos of wardrobe items you upload, outfits you assemble, AI styling results, captions, and likes/favorites you make inside the App.

1.3 Device & usage data. App version, device model, OS version, language, anonymous crash logs, and feature usage events used to improve stability and experience.

1.4 Location (coarse, optional). Only if you grant permission, used solely to fetch local weather for outfit suggestions. We do not retain precise GPS coordinates.

1.5 Purchase records. Subscription and credit purchases are processed entirely by Apple via in-app purchase. We receive only the transaction status, product identifier, and anonymous receipt — we never see your payment card or Apple ID password.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate core features (wardrobe management, outfit assembly, AI styling, weather suggestions).
  • Maintain your account, sync your data across your devices, and restore purchases.
  • Diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.
  • Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your wardrobe photos to train third-party advertising models.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Apple (Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, WeatherKit). Authentication, payments, and weather data are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms.
  • Supabase. Used as our backend for account, database, and storage. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • AI providers. When you use AI styling, the necessary item images and prompts are sent to our AI providers solely to generate the result. They do not use your data for their own advertising.

4. Data Storage & Retention

4.1 Retention periods.

  • Account profile, wardrobe items, outfits and favorites: retained while your account exists.
  • Anonymous crash logs and usage events: up to 180 days.
  • Purchase records (for tax/audit purposes): retained as required by law, typically up to 5 years.

4.2 Storage location. Data is stored on Supabase servers. We apply industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.

4.3 Account deletion. You may delete your account at any time inside the App via Profile → Sign out · Delete account → Delete account. The deletion is a two-step confirmation (warning + typing DELETE). Once confirmed:

  • Your account, wardrobe items, outfits, favorites, credit balance, and feedback records are permanently deleted from our database and cannot be recovered.
  • Active subscriptions are managed by Apple. Deleting your account in the App does not cancel an Apple subscription; please cancel separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to avoid future charges.
  • A small number of uploaded image files in object storage may persist as orphan files for a short period and will be cleaned up by a scheduled task. They are no longer associated with any account and cannot be accessed.
  • Purchase and tax records required by law are retained for the period required by applicable regulations, in de-identified form where possible.

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • View and edit your wardrobe items and outfits inside the App.
  • Sign out on any device.
  • Permanently delete your account and associated data via the in-app entry described in 4.3.
  • Contact us at the email below for any other privacy request.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified inside the App. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
